Welcome to my blog! The Coffee Stained Manuscript was created to follow my journey of self publishing when I found myself with a completed manuscript and no willing publisher or writing agent for that matter.
I decided to self publish which was a scary thing to do but I am impatient. I wanted to get my work out there. I didn't want to sit on it for years. In fact I had already wasted years. You see I had always wanted to write but never had the courage to do so. When I finally started I realised that writing was in my blood. I just had to write and I have not stopped since.
I recognise the challenges we writers face and this blog explores the highs and lows of writing, trying to get a publisher and self publishing as well as discussing writing workshops, writing tips and ways to publicise your novel.
Goa Traffic was my first book and was (still is) a huge learning curve.
